diving in amoudara Since 2005, our Amoudara diving center is based inside Apollonia Beach Hotel, which is one of the best hotels in the area of Amoudara and Heraklion

Amoudara is only 8 kms away from Heraklion city, has a lovely 3 kms long and well organized beach with sun loungers and a wide variety of Travel and Car Rental agencies, Restaurants, Taverns, Shops, Cinemas, Cafes, Bars, Discos and water sports stations.

From Amoudara, someone can easily visit the Archaeological and Historical Sites and Museums of Heraklion city, as well as Knossos Minoan Palace, or enjoy a day shopping in the center of the city.

Other places of interest in Crete can easily be booked at the travel agencies which are located in the area.

Amoudara Scubadiving

Although the area of Amoudara is perfect for holidays in Crete, the bottom composition (sandy) and the shallow depth (2-3 meters) don’t allow us to do any diving in the area. That's why we transfer the divers to our diving centre in Agia Pelagia, which is only 10 kms away!

In Apollonia Hotel, we keep an office just right on the beach and opposite of the pool, where you can find us everyday. There you can get all the necessary information about our diving and snorkelling programs and do your bookings.

Every week, we also organize a free pool demonstration for those who would like to try diving but still have some doubts about it.

We offer every day free transfer service from/to the Apollonia hotel and the divers have the chance to do one or two dives before they return to the hotel.

TRANSFER SERVICE:

Diver’s Club Crete offers a free of charge transfer service from all Hotels and Apts in Amoudara
Divers have the chance to return to their hotel after the first dive at 13:00 or after the second dive at 17:00
Divers could also be accompanied by friends or family upon request in a small value ticket.
